Sorghum Festival
Blairsville's most famous event: Georgia's official Sorghum Festival in October, sponsored by the Blairsville Jaycees. Celebrate the Art of Sorghum Syrup Making at Meeks Park!
Blue Ridge Adventure Race
Run, mountain bike & kayak the Toccoa River in this 11th annual co-ed adventure race. Event is for the adventure racer and the spectator alike. Live Music at the finish line.
Blairsville Scottish Festival
From the Ceilidh Reception to the Closing Ceremony, this festival is all things Scottish including dance, live music, athletic competitions, kid's stuff, and animals.
Butternut Creek Festival
Featuring some of the finest arts and crafts in the southeast, this festival is a yearly tradition. The FREE family event is two days of arts, crafts, demonstrations, wonderful music, and plenty of good food.
Mountain Heritage Festival
Celebrating the rich Appalachian history and culture. This open-air marketplace features local handicrafts, traditional foods and garden produce along with "old-ways" games, craft demonstrations, and live animals. Music stage performances. Free and open to the Public.
Quilt Fest 2009
Quiltfest 2009 will be held October 16-17 at North GA Technical College on Hwy 515. 150 quilts, silent auction, boutique, raffle quilt, door prizes. $5 admission/ free parking!
Tour de Georgia
Tour de Georgia® is North America's premier, professional cycling event and rolling festival.
Indian Summer Festival
First full weekend in October, on the grounds of Wood Gap School. Everything from pottery to mountain honey and clogging to a turkey shoot.
Hiawassee Festival of Arts
A juried fine arts and fine crafts festival with over 100 artists, live jazz, and great food at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds August 25 and 26, 2007
Concerts on the Square

Historical Society - Old Courthouse on Town Square - Free admission, donations appreciated.
Mountain Home Show
A community web site and trade show to educate the consumer on home design and building, and to promote the local construction industry.
Downtown Blairsville
Exciting events include the Spring Arts & Crafts Festival, the Bluegrass Festival, Hometown Halloween on the Square, and Christmas on the Square.
Buegrass Festival
Every September Blairsville hosts the SouthEastern Bluegrass Assn Anniversary Celebration. Jamming all around downtown. Stages at Old Courthouse, City Hall & Mountain Life Museum. Workshops for instruments and sound & recording technology. Music & Crafts vendors welcome!
Blairsville Cruise-Ins
April through October
1st Saturdays, 4pm until dark
Blairsville Cruisers invite any classic vehicle owner to participate. All free to the public. Vendors welcomed, and so are volunteers!
Downtown Spring Arts and Crafts Festival
Art work, crafts, festive food, free entertainment, and a whole bunch of friendly people. This event is family orientated.
Fall Festival of Community Services
fun and informative for the whole family with exhibits, entertainment, prizes, give-a-ways, refreshments, and more.
Hometown Halloween on the Square
Games, crafts, costume contests, and lots of free candy. Join us on October 31st in downtown Blairsville.
North Georgia Motorcycle Show
Motorcycles are the main attraction at this fun event. Plan a ride to Union County, enter the contests, and enjoy the family orientated atmosphere.
